With3 roof faces to utilised we couldn’t use the Fronius 10kW Primo so we had to get 2 x 5kW Fronius Inverters to work for this job. We chose Fronius as the customer was planning on getting an EV and also a home battery. Fronius is the preferred option as the battery and EV Charger work in well with each other being the same brand. Otherwise what can happen is the car can deplete the home battery when plugging it in to charge. Below is what we used:
- 2 x Fronius Primo GEN24, 5kW inverters – Efficiently converting solar energy for home use
- 1 x BYD HVM 13.8 kWh battery – Providing ample storage and backup, so energy is always available, even at night or during outages
- 1 x Fronius 22kW Home EV Charger with 7m Lead (Fronius Wattpilot)
- 32 x Trina Vertex S Plus Dual Glass solar panels – High-efficiency panels that harness maximum sunlight, reducing the homeowner’s reliance on the grid
